Kituskosken aarnialueella sijaitseva peruskätkö. Alueella parkkipaikan lähellä on nuotiopaikka läheisessä kodassa sekä koskikalastuksen mahdollisuus. Reitti kätkölle alkaa parkkipaikalta katsottuna sillan ja kosken toiselta puolen.
Aarnialueeksi nimetty Kituskosken vanha metsäalue sijaitsee Kotalassa. Se rajoittuu Vironjokeen n. puolentoista kilometrin matkalla sisältäen komeat Kituskosket ja Mustakosken. Vaikka Kituskosken aarnialue on pinta-alaltaan pienehkö suojelualueeksi, on sillä huomattava merkitys esimerkiksi alueen monipuoliseen linnuston ja muun eläimistön suojelussa.
Kätkö on löydettävissä myös talvella, vaikkakin lumen vuoksi etsintä saattaa olla haasteellisempaa.
ENGLISH
A basic cache located near Kituskoski. The area holds a possibility to camp fires. Path to the cache begins from the other side of the bridge and the rapids.
The cache should be available also in winter, although the snow may make it more difficult to find.
