Geocache Description:

An offset cache in Arbutus

I'm naming this cache after my geo-dog, Jasper, since this is a favorite spot for him to run and play while on our walks. It's right down the hill from my house, so you may spy me watching while you're trying to locate it. The cache is not at the listed coordinates. It is an offset. After all, Jasper never goes anywhere in a straight line, so I can't lead you straight to the cache, that would be too easy! The coords will take you to the first point, which I call the "sign of four." You will know why when you see it. From this point, project a waypoint 101 feet along a bearing of 291 degrees. This will take you to the final location. The ground is flat, except for a little dip near Ground Zero. I'm going for really wicked hide here, so please let me know if I made it difficult enough! There is a small cash prize for the FTF. Cache contains only a log, so bring a writing stick. I used Javascript Great Circle Calculator by Ed Williams for my projection. Happy hunting!
Congrats to Wizard and Suzanne for the FTF!
