Geocache Description:

Hadouken (technically written with an exclamation point) is a musical group from Leeds, England formed within the last decade. Their style is a mix of electronica and hip-hop, usually referred to as "grindie" or "new rave". Their style is influenced by English big beat bands like The Prodigy.

The band's name is taken from the "Street Fighter" video game series; it refers to a spirit energy ball attack. Appropriately, the band does have a song called "Street Fighter" which is how I became aware of them.

In addition to several standalone singles and EPs, they have so far released two studio albums: "Music for an Accelerated Culture" (2008) and "For The Masses" (2010).

My favorite songs include "Mic Check", "M.A.D.", "Declaration Of War", and "Mecha Love" (which has an impressive official anime music video featuring).
