[DE] Die Friedenskapelle
Die Kapelle steht zwischen den Orten Perl (Deutschland) und Merschweiller (Frankreich) und wurde als Zeichen der europäischen Freundschaft auf der Grenze der beiden Länder errichtet. Sie wurde 1999 von Einwohnern beider Dörfer gemeinsam im Naturpark Hammelsberg am Dreiländereck gebaut. Von hier hat man unter anderem auch eine phänomenale Aussicht auf das Moseltal in Richtung Luxemburg.

Die erste (und einzige) Stage des Multicaches führt euch zur besagten Friedenskapelle.
Falls nicht abgeschlossen ist, ist es möglich, die Kapelle auch von innen zu besichtigen.
Für die Aufgaben muss die Kapelle aber nicht betreten werden!
Hier müssen folgende Aufgaben gelöst werden:
  • A = Aus wievielen Kacheln besteht das Fenster an der Rückseite der Kapelle?
  • B = Aus wievielen Kacheln besteht eines der beiden Fenster auf der linken Seite der Kapelle?
  • C = Wieviele Kirchenbänke befinden sich in der Kapelle?
Rechts hinter der Kapelle an der Mauer steht ein Gedenkstein.
Hier muss an der Seite "ANDENKEN" folgendes abgelesen werden:
  • D = Welche Ziffer kommt in den beiden oberen Jahreszahlen nur einmal vor?
  • E = Welche Ziffer kommt auf der gesamten Vorderseite am häuftigsten vor?
Der Final befindet sich bei:

[EN] The Friedenskapelle
The chapel is situated between the villages Perl (Germany) and Merschweiller (France) and was erected on the border between both countries as a symbol of european friendship. It has been built in 1999 by inhabitants of both villages together in the Naturpark Hammelsberg at the border triangle Luxembourg-France-Germany. From this point you also have a phenomenal view of the Mosel valley towards Luxembourg.

The first (and only) stage of the Multicache takes you to the mentioned Friedenskapelle.
If the door isn't locked, it is possible to view the chapel from the inside.
For solving the riddles, it is not necessary to enter the chapel!
The following questions have to be answered here:
  • A = Of how many segments consists the window in the backside of the chapel?
  • B = Of now many segments consists one of the two windows in the left side of the chapel?
  • C = How many benches are in the chapel?
Behind the chapel on the right side at the wall a memorial stone can be found.
Here the following things have to be read off of the "ANDENKEN" side:
  • D = Which digit is unique in both upper dates?
  • E = Which digit is most common on the whole front side?
