Geocache Description:

This is our first cache. We have placed it in a small wood, that is great to walk through from end to end. You can easily park in Queen Elizabeth's Walk.

Queen Elizabeth's Walk is a short wooded trail that dates back to the first Elizabeth. Local legend has it that the Monarch and Sir Walter Raleigh used to stroll together there.

The cache is a medium sized clear, clip top plastic box. There is a notepad and pencil (wrapped in a plastic zipper bag) and several swaps, including a smurf, a water pistol and a hiker travel bug.

The path is really one main path running the length of the wood, but there is a parallel path that runs alongside it in places. The paths are wide and well kept, but the higher path is sometimes slightly overgrown.
