This cache is placed in a reconstructed piece of tallgrass prairie
that was once common in Michigan, but has been virtually
eradicated. Please take time to enjoy this rare place, and read the
informational materials here. DO NOT go off trail in this area
– it is fragile and easily damaged! The cache can be reached
without leaving the established trails. Please respect the
environment here. This cache is winter friendly, though the trails
are not groomed in the winter. Snowshoeing is welcome, but
cross-country skiing is forbidden per Fernwood's rules.
Heartiest congratulations
