We placed this cache while on vacation in St John. Directly out
from the house we rented was a sandbar with several bushes as well
as a beached sail boat. We were surprised how few caches were on St
John... and this sand bar seemed like a great place for one!
From the shore line, cachers can walk to the cache as long as
they don't mind getting wet (waste deep at the most) and sloshing
through eel grass. From the bay, the sand bar can be accessed via a
short swim, provided you don't mind finding an open space through
coral. (i promise, they are there)
Cache is in a water-proof container and attached to some of the
land-scape in order to keep in dry and in place as long as
possible. Please leave the cache as you found it if possible.
