Cache is located on the way to Tower cabin, a little cache to look for to keep on the right track. Snowshoes or cross country skies are pretty helpful here in the winter. Without them you might sink in the snow up to your thighs.not fun.
The cache is up the embankment, behind a stump, at an intersection. Keep right here but stop and admire the view, Its really a sweeping view of the straits. Further up the road look down on your right; far below is a boggy area. In the summer its the greenest green, and in the winter its blue and white and silver.
Even from this distance we could see large tracks, maybe an elk, threading his way along the road just above the bog.
