A nice simple cache by the new(ish) Birkenhead library
Come on down to Birkenhead Library. Opened in late 2009 the library has won a number of awards for its design. Including the
• 2010 NZ Architecture Award – Auckland Architecture Award for Sustainable Architecture
• 2010 NZ Architecture Award – Auckland Architecture Award for Public Architecture
• 2010 Resene Colour Award
• 2010 Property Council NZ Rider Levett Bucknall Awards – Special Purpose Building (Excellence Award).
Its very nice inside with views across the harbour to the city and out west as well.
The cache is located outside amongst the redeveloped gardens which also include a small playground.
Cache is a mint tin, only contains a logsheet, bring your own pen. Please replace as found and watch out for muggles, there be plenty.
