Geocache Description:

A micro hidden a short walk away from a beautiful old-style plantation home.

Not sure what the story behind this house is, but it's sure been refurbished nicely. For a while, this late 19th/early 20th century home lay abandoned, but it's obviously well-loved nowadays.

I've heard it referred to as "The Luna's House", the term "luna" meaning the plantation overseer or foreman. (Personally, I don't think luna's rated a house this lavish!)

For obvious reasons, the cache itself is several yards down the old Highway 130. (The current highway was re-aligned in the late 90's when Keaau High was built.)

There's several potential hiding spots at the GZ, but this one might require a little feeling around to locate. You'll see many little panels - rest assured that the cache isn't hidden in any of those! Also, if the big trucks are using the equipment at the GZ, you may as well come back on another day - they tend to stick around for quite awhile!

The cache itself is a micro. Just the log and a pencil stub at the moment, but there's room for some tiny swag if anyone wants to leave stuff.
