Geocache Description:

One of the many nice parks in Anslie, not far from the shops.

The place was named after Andrew Fisher, 5th Prime Minister of Australia 1908-09, 1910-13 & 1914-15.

According to the Canberra Times of 28th August 1943 (where the name was announced) :

Fisher Place, which is situated at the northeasterly limit of the existing Ainslie development, will have particular interest for Ainslie residents since it has been planned as a limited area designed to provide local shopping facilities on a restricted scale.

Looks like the shops went elsewhere!

Cache is a pill bottle. Please close tightly, replace as found and cover again. Also watch out for muggles in the nearby houses. Its not easy to be discreet here! Thanks.
