This cache is located in Mt. Nebo Park. This park is open during daylight hours only.
This cache has been hidden for Thanksgiving 2011. At my house, usually after everyone has eaten a big Thanksgiving meal, we all end up falling asleep for an hour or so in the afternoon. This cache has been placed here as an alternative to taking a nap. After having your turkey dinner, head over to Mt. Nebo park and take a nice relaxing walk in the woods and walk off all that turkey.
From the parking area, follow the main trail to the Outer Loop Trail. This trail will lead you through a forest area that contains both evergreen woodland areas and deciduous woodland areas. The trails are all well marked with either reflectors or white paint dots.
This cache is a regular sized ammo box hidden fairly close to the trail. Please use stealth if other hikers are in the area.
Please remember that this park is open only during daylight hours, so please do NOT attempt this cache at night.
