There is a fun little trail located in this area, you will be walking up a bit, near a little creek/waterfalls, hence the name "Walk up the Creek".
The Fairbairn House is one of Wakefield's oldest dwellings, it was the home of Scottish settler William Fairbairn and was moved twice before settling in its' current location as a heritage museum that focuses on protecting and promoting the history and heritage of Québec's lower Gatineau River valley. The waterfalls or little creek was hand built using pulley and ropes by the Sentiers Wakefield Trials and many dedicated volunteers. Another Wakefield Gem is the nearby Wakefield Covered Bridge over the swift flowing Gatineau River. PS: There is a cache on the middle of the bridge! (visit link)

La maison Fairbairn est l'une des plus anciennes maisions de Wakefield. C'était le domicile du colon écossais William Fairbairn.
Sentiers Wakefield Trails et de nombreux bénévoles dévoués ont construit à la main les cascades ou le petit ruisseau à l'aide de poulies et de cordes.

This cache was adopted by SWT in 2019. It was originally owned by cibouleau and placed in 2011. Thanks for the creative hid. There was a GOHABSGO travel bug attached to the cache.
