Please note this site has limited access and is open Tuesday - Saturday 9-5. Please do not jump the gate, security alarms will activate. There are 12 stops on the Escambia County Environmental Geocache Tour. Geocachers who visit at least 8 of the 12 locations, and use the colored pens at each location to check off the tour visit sheet, can receive a tour prize. This 1,700 sq. ft. house will serve as Perdido Bay Tribe’s (PBT’s) new administrative headquarters for all present and future projects in service to our community. It will also serve as a temporary mini version of our envisioned Muscogee Creek Cultural Heritage Museum and Learning Center – including a library and media center.

• A permanent home for PBT’s resource library, exhibits of air and artifacts and other educational materials
Grounds Development Plan
• Clear walking trails
• Construction of traditional Southeastern Creek structures
o To show how early Indians lived
o To help demonstrate the People’s close relationship with nature
o To provide open-air shelter for outdoor activities
• Plant & identify native plants used by the Southeastern Indians for food, medicines, building materials, weapons, tools, transportation, etc.
Functions and Activities
• A base of operation for all PBT educational programs and community service activities
• A place of welcoming pride and participation for all American Indian people
• A place for research and learning for students at all levels
• A destination of interest to tourists and other visitors of Pensacola
