This Cache is off the beaten track in Abbeyford Woods near Okehampton devon
My Granddaughter Jade has helped me set some caches to help explore Abbeyford Woods.
Abbeyford Woods are easily explored on foot or by mountain bike. These caches are best found on foot. The woods are managed by the Forestry Commission who welcome geocachers! Areas of beech, oak, larch, Douglas fir and sweet chestnut have created a diverse combination of wildlife habitats. As a result, the woods are frequented by red and roe deer, badgers and otters as well as numerous birds from redstart and pied fly catcher to nightjar, buzzard and raven.
The paths vary in quality, I recommend wellies for kids in all but the driest weather!
The cache is a 900ml click&lock container.
There is plenty of room for small swaps.
