La Kolymbetra era l'antica "piscina" akragantina poi trasformata in
agrumeto-frutteto tradizionale (jardinu) tuttora irrigato dagli
"Acquedotti Feaci" (V° Sec. a.C.) restaurato e gestito dal
FAI.

Kolymbetra used to be the ancient "akragantina" pool (of
Agrigento), later transformed into a traditional orchard (jardinu),
in particular a citrus garden. It still receives water from the
"Feaci Aqueducts" (5th century b.C.). Kolymbetra has been restored
and is managed by FAI, upon grant from the Regione Siciliana.
