As the name suggests, this series of 9 plus a bonus cache has been set up to celebrate our 2000th cache find. On 10.10.10 we found our 1000th cache and then set the target of our 2nd 1000 caches to be found by 11.11.11. This was achieved 1 day early. No we are not doing our 3rd 1000 caches by 12.12.12 (or are we?).
The Series starts and finishes in Crondall on the Hampshire/ Surrey border. It is approximately 5Km in length and will take about 1.5 hours to complete. Please keep to the footpaths and watch the brambles in places. Hopefully you will be surprised by the variety of cache containers as we wanted to make it as varied as possible. Please be prepared for them, don't be scared! Don't forget to collect the clues for the bonus cache along the way. Although there are no stiles, part of the paths are not open for cycles so no cycling Please do not put spoilers in your logs thanks. Parking at the church N 51 13 837 W000 51 748 Maybe during Services or weddings not the best place. There is parking in the village, but be aware there are some narrow lanes in Crondall. Please be careful with the caches and be sure to replace them as found. Don't overtighten any threaded tubes and bring your own pen please. Thanks If anything gets broken please let us know asap . It won't be a problem You undertake this series at your own risk. Team CUIYC accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury how so ever caused
