Geocache Description:

There are a lot of "CHALLENGE" caches out there. I have never been a huge fan of most of them because they seem to exclude the novice cachers or the old timers who now only have time for a handful of caches every now and then.

This is a cache that is equally suited to those new to Geocaching as well as all those veterans out there. Complete the task (details below), then find the cache at the posted coordinates.

Let me start by saying that the cache IS at the given coordinates. BUT.....In order to sign the log, you must complete a task! Here is the "TASK" for you if you choose to accept it!

Find a cache that has not been found for at least one year.

Ground rules:

1. The qualifying find must be at least one calendar year after the previous find, and can be anywhere in the world.

2. The find must occur on or after the published date of this cache, and must be before you find this cache. SORRY....NO ARMCHAIR FINDS ALLOWED!!!

3. The find must be your first for that particular cache; repeat finds do not count. Archived caches do not count, and cache owners cannot find their own caches.

4. No replacement finds allowed (wherein you replace a disabled or missing cache).

5. In your log, post: the cache you found, and the length of time between finds.

6. I am a firm believer in "strength in numbers!" If you are caching with a buddy or a group and a cache is resurrected, then as far as I'm concerned, you can all find and log this cache. Just as long as the resurrected cache was a "new" find for the signer. (This is Groundspeaks take: An individual's attempt to complete a challenge should be independent of the actions of other cachers. A challenge is supposed to recognize the completion of an achievement, rather than the winner of a competition.)

I want this to be FUN! By no means is this cache meant to be a competition. There is no prize for sure....Although you will have bragging rights on finding a really great cache in a really great area!

Once qualified, go to the posted coordinates and find the cache. The cache is located in a beautiful wooded area near a stream. Its a large camo'ed container with tons of room and a boat load of swag! The terrain rating is real! Expect some slippery slopes!

If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to email me.

Hopefully this one will not lie dormant for over a year. Now go resurrect a cache!

Don't forget your camera!
