Very Lonely Gatepost Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed to mark the holding of the COP17 Congress in Durban during November & December 2011.

This cache has been placed in a side street in the Point Area, close to uShaka Marine World.  The Point area is currently mid-stage in an urban renewal project.

Note to foreign visitors:

Caches in South Africa are very susceptible to being muggled. Unlike in the rest of the world, muggles take a great interest in what you are doing and WILL come and investigate after you have gone. The result is a muggled cache. So please always exercise stealth.

Please take great care to mask your activity and replace the cache carefully after signing the log. Look all around when retrieving and when replacing the cache to make sure you are not seen.

If you are caching after sunset, take all the precautions you would normally take in any large city. It is preferable to cache in a group, and this also assists in being stealthy with finding and replacing the cache.
