Geocache Description:

Easily accessible but will require some thinking and will introduce you to things in this community (and any other for that matter) that you probably take for granted.

To find this cache, you must use the following poem that contains clues. Read carefully and have a great search!

In downtown Valdosta where the old buildings lie
You must go to a plaque and look up to the sky
From that symbol of local courage you’ll see
A large white lake westward from thee

Then you must Crews to the big white lake
Empowering you will be “D3491” and “40A”
From there, toe-to-heel, parallel with the road
in a Northern direction, for 40 or so.

Then turn perpendicular the only way that you can
Do 40 more, and from where you will land…
You can’t miss the crepe. It’s just one of many
Now follow that line down past its ending.

You’ll next stand where the big lake’s leak is headed
A drop counter of sorts, on the top will be printed
See the lakes leak spouting up from the ground?
Your prize is right by it. It’s easily found.

The cache is well known by those that work near
You can do your business without any fear
You won’t hear “Shoo!” but you could get a smile
They may have been watching your fun for a while.

Trade fairly and log, then put it away
Just like you found it, so others can play.
