Calendar Daze #01 Letterbox Hybrid
SeeKPeeKRs: Unfortunately this cache was buried when some nearby construction piled a bunch of dirt on the cache. [xx(] I was hoping that I could rework the cache. I love letterbox hybrid caches and really wish there were more letterbox hybrid caches out there. But since this site isn't the best - I mean who visits a park 'n ride just to visit a park 'n ride?! - I am going to archive this cache. [B)] This archival is to honor geocaching and not to add to the too many LPCs (lamely placed caches) that are already out there. [:(]

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is placed mainly to give anyone needing a fairly easy
find, just that, a fairly easy find.
Many cachers are trying to find a cache on every calendar day of
the year, and at times that goal can get a little mind-numbing.
Hopefully, this cache will help alleviate the daze of finding a cache on certain
days. (Like the pun I
used?!)
Please note that this cache is NOT
at the listed coordinates. The cache is a very short walk from the
posted coordinates. This is a letterbox hybrid cache so you will
have to follow the directions below to find the cache. Happy
hunting!
To find the cache:
- At the posted coordinates, you will need to face east.
- Turn south and walk to the electric pole.
- Once at the electric pole, turn southwest.
- Walk twelve paces.
- Look for the cache.
It's that simple.
The container is a small tea tin. Inside the container you will
find a log sheet for signing and stamping, a small stamp for you to
stamp your letterboxing journal (please leave the stamp in the
cache), no inkpad - BRING YOUR OWN
INK - and a few very small tradeables. There are also
some pathtags for the first few finders.
What else? Hopefully this is a quick find for those who chose to
hunt this cache. Remember, please leave the
stamp in the container. Thanks!
Oh yeah, one other thing .... The stamp .... This was the first
hand-carved stamp I made. It is the 'Mark It' flag from the first
GPSr, an eTrex Legend, that I ever used. I kind of thought it was
appropriate to use this stamp in my first letterbox hybrid cache.
Enjoy!
