Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.

George W. Bush was the 43rd U.S. president. He was born on July 6, 1946 in Connecticut. He was president from January 20, 2001 until January 20, 2009. He was affiliated with the Republican party. In his first presidential race he won by one of the smallest margins in U.S. history. The election came down to a very close race in Florida. The race was so close that a recount was necessary. The Florida Supreme Court ordered a second recount, which was challenged by the Bush camp. On December 9, over a month after the election the U.S. Supreme Court overruled the ruling in Florida giving Bush the state and the presidency.

The most famous event that happened during his administration was the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. This led to the war on terror, attack of Iraq, capture of Saddam Hussein and the invasion of Afghanistan. The war in Iraq initially caused Bush's popularity to go up quickly, but eventually led to a big Republican defeat in the 2008 elections.

This cache is old school. The difficulty is probably a little higher than a 2 for the first finder. It will probably get easier after that, but maybe not. You will have to make a short hike in the woods to get to the cache along a trail with some muddy areas. If you don't find the trail you will have to do a little bushwacking through an area with scattered thorns.

As always, since this cache is in a cemetery there is no night caching allowed. Please respect the area.

Have fun.
