Geocache Description:

A short hike, a beautiful canyon, a cache.

This cache is close to the John Brooks Trail in Belmont's open space preserve of the same name. You can do a three-mile loop around Waterdog Lake, enjoy the views and pick up a number of caches. It doesn't seem that many outside of the immediate neighborhood know about this area and I'm hoping to attract a few more.

You are looking for a small rectangular Lock-n-Lock container. Please replace the cache as you found it, and try to position the stash note so the bold "GEOCACHE" text shows through the top (since I didn't have a label). It starts with a few trinkets for the young' uns.

Please respect park hours; this is not a night cache. The park closes at sunset.
