El Paisaje Protegido de Vallebrón se encuentra en el sector central del norte de la isla de Fuerteventura y comprende 1.679,6 hectáreas, lo que supone un 1% de la superficie insular y el 3,5% de la superficie insular protegida. la declaración de este espacio protegido afecta a los municipios de La Oliva y Puerto del Rosario.
Vallebrón representa un paisaje caracterizado po0r un lomo alargado y con relieve de cuchillo flanqueado por dos grandes barrancos en forma de U, Valle Largo y Valle Chico. El vértice más al sur del lomo corresponde a la Montaña de la Muda, lugar de interés histórico por albergar un yacimiento con sistema de enterramiento peculiar, y con sus 690 metros de altura es una de las mayores alturas de su entorno, constituyendo un punto de referencia de importancia para el territorio que ocupa.
Al suroeste se sitúa el núcleo poblacional de Tindaya, flanqueado por la Montaña Quemada , al sur, y Montaña de Tindaya, al norte.
Bajo la Montaña de la Muda hay un mirador desde donde se divisa Tindaya, EL Cotillo, Lajares y parte de La Oliva.
Flora a destacar: Aulaga, Mato, Espino, Tabaiba salvaje, Tabaiba dulce, Tunera, Cebolla Almorrana, Barrilla, Cosco y Esparraguera.
Fauna: Hubara canaria, Abubilla, Cernícalo, Alcavarán, Tarabilla canaria, pospo, alcaudón, Tórtola, lagarto atlántico y Lisneja

Vallebrón Protected Landscape is located in north central sector of the island of Fuerteventura and comprises 1679.6 hectares, which amounts to 1% of the island and 3.5% of the island protected. the statement of this protected area affects the municipalities of La Oliva, and Puerto del Rosario.
Represents a landscape characterized Vallebrón po0r an elongated spine and embossed knife ravine flanked by two large U-shaped, Longbottom and Valle Chico. The southernmost tip of the spine corresponds to the Silent Mountain, site of historic interest in hosting a site with unique burial system, with its 690 meters high, is one of the greatest heights of their surroundings, providing a point of important reference for the territory it occupies.
To the southwest lies the main town of Esmeralda, flanked by the Burnt Mountain, south, and Tindaya Mountain to the north.
Under the Mountain of the Muda is a viewpoint where you can see Esmeralda, El Cotillo, Lajares and part of La Oliva.
Plants include: Gorse, Mato, Espino, Tabaiba wild, sweet Tabaiba, Tuner, Onion piles, Barrilla, Cosco and asparagus.
Fauna: houbara bustard, Hoopoe, Kestrel, Alcavarán, Canary Islands Stonechat, postponing, shrike, Tortola, Atlantic lizard and Lisneja
