At elev. 1609 ft., this spot has a great view of the Cowiche Canyon Trail and all the surrounding area. The cache is well hidden so you need to look carefully. Signs are posted at the main entrances to the Cowiche Canyon area that warn about rattlesnakes. I often hike the trails in this area and I saw a magnificient diamondback in the summer of 2000-but not even one in 2001. In summer, if you look closely, maybe you will be lucky enough to see a rattler!
