The Blues Brothers
The Blues Brothers was a cult movie made in 1980 and has always been one of my favourites.
The band was actually formed in 1978 and did play as an independent band, it was not just a creation for the movie. I will leave it to you to look up those details, but this cache is based around the original movie, and the sequel made in 1998, well  after John Belushi's death in 1982, and called Blues Brothers 2000.
