Geocache Description:

Easy 1.5 mile (one way) walking trail through palmetto scrub. Not suitable for your bike; mostly sugarsand.

Cache placement approved by Martin Morse, park service specialist. Obey all speed limits. Do not block gates. All wheels off the pavement.

The song was written by Robin Moore and Staff Sgt. Barry Sadler, while the latter was recuperating from a leg wound suffered as a medic in the Vietnam War.
