Geocache Description:


With the OOPS (Out Of Profession/Business) I am starting a brand new series. These are businesses
which have gone under. The caches are NOT ON PRIVATE properties, so please do not trespass. Enjoy your OOPS series.

C.C.M. (Canada Cycle and Motor) was the largest industry in Weston on this site for decades. They manufactured bicycles, skates and helmets. My wife and many friends we know worked for them. The machinery was very outdated and the plant closed in the late 70's. To my knowledge they moved to Quebec somewhere at that time, but now everything is made overseas anyway.
