Geocache Description:

Lock n lock, hidden less than 1/2 mile from the Dungeness Fish Hatchery off Fish Hatchery Rd. Only accessible from 8:00 am until 4:30. (a secondary small parking spot is open til dusk, 1/8 m. further up Fish Hatchery Road)
Please replace cache exactly as found so as not to encourage others to scramble around the hint.

The Dungeness Fish Hatchery has been open since 1946. There is a beautiful park near the parking lot of the hatchery. Follow the trail through the park which then connects to a service rd. This road parallels the Dungeness River and is about a 1/2 mile walk on level terrain.
The coordinates will take you almost to the end of the road. Once you are at the coordinates look bluff side, not riverside! No need to scramble around, up, or over the hint.
If time allows, explore the river and the hatchery. The hatchery has a nice interpretive center and restrooms. Please note that the cache is accessible only between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30. I have permission from the hatchery personnel to place this cache, so please honor their hours. (There is a small parking lot 1/8m further up Fish Hatchery Rd. that is open until dusk.
You are looking for a lock n lock, and I have placed a variety of fish related items in the log book ziplock for the First To Find to choose from.
I hope you enjoy this little piece of paradise on the Olympic Peninsula!

Congratulations to Born2BWild and pharmdude for their very First, First to Find. I'm so glad you enjoyed the area!
