Geocache Description:

Embassy of the United States

This cache is not at the location listed.

This cache is an off-set cache, it is not at the listed cords. Instead look for the sign in front of the embassy. It has an American flag on it. Get the three digit number and add it to the following formula: N37 34.(195+X) E126 58.(743-X)
The log paper is full and i have moved away from Seoul for now. Please simply post a photo log. Thanks.

While this cache is NOT physically at the embassy and you are free to walk on the sidewalk in front of the embassy it is a sensitive area so it would be best to just act normal while in the area. If you don't want actually walk in front of the embassy or if it is a busy day, you can and may want to look at the sign from Gwanghwamun square.

About this cache: While caching in Tokyo I found a few off-set caches in a series based on the various embassies in the city. I decided that it would be fun to copy the idea here in Korea. This is the first in a series by my self and bluesky, we will be placing more in the future so keep an eye out for our embassy series. If you want to place more then you are welcome too. You can find the locations of the various embassies with this public map. If you can't read Korean letters then google translate works miracles.
