Geocache Description:

A happy little cache near (what was) Smoky Gardens.

A small 'happy' little cache located near the entrance to the Smoky Gardens at Soldiers Memorial Park. For years, Smoky Gardens was the go-to place to hang out on the weekends. The good times were fun, the fishing was great (before the water went away), and the memories will last a life time. I used to ride my bike out there on the weekends as a kid and camp until Sunday. The lake was drained the better-half of a decade ago due to a Carp infestation. Since then, the place has become run-down almost beyond use. The cache has a log, pencil, and some small geoschwag!

**UPDATE**: Due to flash flooding in September 2013, the Smoky now has water and has been stocked with game fish. Happy Geocaching!
