Geocache Description:

Wandering Heroes - Miray

This cache is adding some more great geocachers that we have had the pleasure to meet.


Miray is the Parrots geocaching Dad.

Back in 2004 I bought a GPS to use while on my travels to be able to find my way back to whatever hotel we were staying at. While on holidays I used to go out walking and getting back to the hotel was sometimes an interesting experience. I got the GPS to be able to create a waypoint to get back.

I had never heard of Geocaching and after I showed Miray my new toy and explained why I had got it he told me about this much more fun use and the rest is history.
The cache is located on the Tailem Bend to Karoonda road. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.
