Geocache Description:

We wish all our caching friends and those we have yet to meet a very Merry Christmas.

We thought just to take your minds off the shopping and cooking we would put out a special seasonal cache to give you a little diversion.

This cache is packed full with Christmas items - party poppers, balloons, throws and festive keyrings - please help yourselves and enjoy (no need for swaps).

The large-sized cache is hidden on the edge of Thistleton village. The parish church is dedicated to St Nicholas - the saint had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him, and he thus became the model for Santa Claus.
