This cache is a family-friendly cache placed the Rush, N.Y. BSA Troop 134 as part of their work towards the Geocaching Merit Badge. (PLEASE NOTE: This cache is located on Rush V.F.D property. The Rush V.F.D. is our Troop's chartering organization, and the cache is placed there by permission.) When going to the parking coords, please use the driveway to the W of the Fire House (the one to the right of the Fire House as you face the building standing on Route 251. When attempting this cache, please use common sense (i.e. - don't attempt cache during emergency calls, etc.). The cache is VERY easy, and is an excellent beginner and kid-friendly cache, filled with some useful scout-type items and other trinkets. Please trade evenly (other scout items, patches, etc.) are highly encouraged for this cache, but not required. Any scout(s) that search this cache are also encouraged to give unit info and pics of their find also! As this is a fairly open area, please rehide the cache carefully, and no night caching-please.
