Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since 2014. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

You may feel you're in a scene from Six Days, Seven Nights, when you drive around Anahola. That's because you are, sort of. This whole area was a movie set in 1998 for Harrison Ford and Anne Heche, in Six Days, Seven Nights. Papa'a Bay was the movie set for the beachfront resort, and is the bay where the airplane makes the water-landing, at the end of the movie.

Find Kalalea View Drive on your map, it's just north of Anahola Town. Off of Kalalea View Drive, there's a public rd that takes you to a small parking lot. As you're facing the direction of the ocean, look for a trail next to a wall, to the left of the parking area. After you've past the wall, veer to the left and follow the trail for 5 minutes, to Papa'a Bay. You'll have to boulder hop the last 100 yards before the beach. The beach is beautiful and please note, that in Hawaii, nobody can own a beach, so you're not trespassing when you walk across this lovely bay.( It's private property, past the high water mark.)
