Geocache Description:

Fire-loving villain.

Heatwave is a born pyromaniac. In fact, he suffers from cryophobia (fear of cold) due to a prank when he was young. He loves fire, and uses it in all of his crimes.

You are standing near the memorial to the victims of the Happy Land fire. A fire, set by a club waitress' jealous ex-boyfriend (in conjunction with multiple fire code violations), killed 87 people. It was a very sad event that greatly affect many people in the area, as well as across the city. I remember that, at the time, Happy Land was a club that many people had gone to at least once. After the fire, many clubs and social venues across the city making changes dues to similar violations.
