The LMSP series has been placed for our Lake Manatee Geocaching Event held on April 14, 2012. All of the cache names have been inspired by some of our favorite movies.
Welcome to the Movies
The Plot:
Phoenix cop Ben Shockley is well on his way to becoming a derelict when he is assigned to transport a witness named Gus Mally from Vegas. Mally turns out to be a belligerent prostitute with mob ties and incriminating information regarding a high-placed figure. Shockley's suspicions are aroused and the betting line against Mally testifying begins to climb when the transport vehicle is bombed and Mally's house is literally shot to pieces. The pair must face the truth about those they trust, as well as their own inner strengths, as they fight their way to Phoenix, finally using an armored bus to run a gauntlet of hundreds of police armed with high-powered weaponry.

Shockley:”You see we've got a problem, you and me. We don't like each other much but we have to take a trip together. Now you can come along peacefully or you can be a pain in the ass. But I'm warning you: You mess around and I'll put the cuffs on you. You talk dirty - I gag you. You run - I'll shoot ya. My name is Shockley and we've got a plane to catch. Let's go.”

The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until sundown 365 days per year. The daily fee is $5.00 per vehicle (2 to 8 people per vehicle) and $4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.
