This is a beautiful trail that runs along portions of Silver Brook.
I have never been a big fan of Black Friday Shopping at the big box stores. It is too early in the morning, there are too many people, and there is a total lack of civility. I chose to spend the day on the trails in peace and quiet. It is easier to do the shopping from the comfort of my easy chair. For those of you who hit the stores, I hope you got a great bargain.
Caches: This is a series of three caches of varying sizes. I cleaned out the swag closest and placed a lot of geo swag in one of these caches. If you see something you like, during the holiday season, feel free to take it. No need to trade items.
Directions: Take RTE 22 to Broad Turn Road in Scarborough. Turn left on to Broad Turn Road. You will want to look for Hanson Road on the right shortly after turning on to Broad Turn Road. Turn on to Hanson Road. Shortly after turning on to Hanson Road look for a dirt road on the left. Follow the dirt road a short distance to a circular drive. You can park anywhere in the circle but pull off far enough so others can pass. Walk up to the Kiosk coordinates. Follow the worn path to the trail which passes between two outhouses. Follow the blue blaze marks. The trail is a loop.
HUNTING IS ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WEAR BLAZE ORANGE DURING HUNTING SEASON.
