Even White Pine Trees grow at Portage March. With the low water, a new shoreline and habitate is being created.
Portage Point Marsh is South West just outside of Escanaba Michigan off of M-35. Road takes you down the marsh and to a parking area. The cache is a short walk. While you are there, take in the rest of the marsh!
