国道５０号線は群馬県前橋市を起点とし茨城県水戸市を終点とする一般国道です。

その中間点が小山市にあります。

中間点の中央分離帯には、「R50のヘソ」と書かれた看板を持つタヌキの絵が描かれた看板が立っています。

キャッシュはそこから100m離れた場所に設置してあります。
