Adel Cub Scouts Den 6 of Pack 152 (aka The Adventure Den) held a week-end camp out at Glissman. One of our activities was to learn about GeoCaching. We hid 10 "private" caches around the area for the scouts to find and had them locate a few "official" caches hidden nearby as well. As a final activity we hid our own cache a short hike off the trail.
Although the cache is hidden a little ways off the beaten path, the terrain isn't overly difficult. We had our fill of the thorny bushes in the forest by the time we got around to hiding our own cache! There are a few trade items in the cache as well.
If you or your son were/is in scouting and you find the cache, please record your local club's Pack and Den in the log.
