This cache is in the Juniper Flats OHV Play Area, The Dunes to those who have been riding here for years. Be CAREFUL!! There have been rattle snakes seen in this area.
We have been wanting to place a cache here for years. Now that it's an official riding area, the secret of this spot is out. In-fact with the new additions to this area it would be a great place for a picnic or barbecue. We placed this cache before all the new additions so be stealthy. Your looking for a black thermos hidden among-st the rocks and stumps. From the hiding spot one can see Yellow Butte and Mt Shasta beyond. Keep one eye out for for off-roaders and give them a friendly wave if you see any, they are your friends. BYOP.
