A nice walk to a semi-gentle climb to some nice views.
We aren't sure what might live in there. Maybe a dragon or a cave dwelling troll. Whatever it is you can get up close and personal to find out. We moved a nearby cache and logbook to this location.
You can get to the cache from either the Rowland Lake parking area or at the bottom of Courtney Hill. The Rowland Lake parking is closer. There is a trail heading up the hill just west of a cut in the rocks. Head up about 50 yards and take the fork to the right. Follow the trail up and around to the cache site. The cache is a medium sized lock and lock stocked with goodies. There is some poison oak along the trail but you can miss it. A flashlight might be handy to have. If you need more exercise head on up the trail to "Over the Creek and Through the Woods".
