Galliformes



Please DO NOT search for this cache at night.
You do not need to go past the wildlife refuge boundary sign to locate this cache.

Chicken and turkey are prime examples of the Galliformes order. They are often hunted or farmed for their meat for food. Notable Galliformes include Foghorn Leghorn, Mike the Headless Chicken (look it up) and the centerpiece at Thanksgiving Dinner.
