Geocache Description:


This cache is located approximately 350 Meters in the desert from the coastal road “Halaieb We Shalatein”, in front of the Red Sea Diving Safari Camp Marsa Nakari. The camp is situated 18km south of Marsa Alam.

I recommend searching for this cache in the very early morning or at dawn.

The Nakari Village is situated opposite of Dolphin House. One of the very unique things about Nakari Village is that it was used as a port city in the early Roman period - remains of the ancient settlement can be seen on a hill overlooking the bay. The Marsa Nakari coral reef is in superb condition - offering splendid biodiversity. The locality offers perfect settings for beginners as well as experienced divers - especially UW photographers.
