Geocache Description:


The A49 is an old road and over the years it has been straightened out and taken away from built up areas. This series of 8 caches are on old sections of A49, if you want to check out a good map link then (visit link) is useful. They are drive-by caches from the junction with the M56 to the outskirts of Cuddington. Please take care with children as some of the caches are on or not far from roads.

The Weaverham by-pass was put in quite recently. The old road used to hug the Weaver at this point and there is quite a drop down on one side so keep an eye on kiddies. Park up at N53.16.300 W2.35.570 and walk down the old track. At the wrong time of the year there are brambles here. The cache is a lock down plastic container.
