Geocache Description:

A nano hidden along the Montpelier Bike Path. With a History tour of the Montpelier and Wells River Railroad. Easy walking, wheelchair accessible, with the exception of a curb at the final. Take a walk along the bikepath (about 1 mile round trip)and learn a little about the History of Montpelier and railroad. There is a parking fee for the listed parking.

As you walk along this path, look for answers to the following questions. 1. Sand and gravel fill raised the meadow (A) to (B) feet. 2. Montpelier and Wells River RR extended their tracks to the Barre granite quarries in (C). 3. The railroad tool house is number (D) in the key. 4. The Tramp was also known as No. (E) 5. The "gallows turntable" was constructed in (F). 6. In (G) the railroad brought increased commercial activity. 7. The coal tower was (H) tall. 8.
