Geocaching can get quite scary.
I was in Toronto a while back, just after I started Geocaching,
even brought along a really cool geocoin with me but that's another
story.
Although I did not have much time, I did get a chance to find 5
geocaches, most took 15 minutes+ to locate, reason being, they were
magnetic micros in a sea of metal.
What really scared me, well first of all I found them all well
after dark, some after a huge thunder storm had passed, in a very
questionable part of town I was not familiar with. Add to that the
fact that you had to blindly grope around in areas where your only
company was some pretty sketchy people, both awake and asleep,
let's just say I've had more fun wrestling with a bear.
When I got back to Vancouver I decided urban micros scare me, give
me an ammo can at the end of an 8 hour hike any day, so as my way
of giving back, I'm hiding my own urban micro in a spot you will
blindly have to grope so enjoy!
As for the area, just west is a life-sized, anatomically correct
bronze bull people really seem to like having their picture taken
with, just across the street is Library Square, a cool place inside
and out and looking just east you can catch a glimpse of the new
and improved BC Place.
You may also recognize this location from the 2011 Vancouver riot,
this is where it all began.
Question is, can you overcome your fears and find this cache?
PS: For some really odd reason I also fear tweezers and writing
implements, I hope you don't.
Please be gentle and re-hide the cache the way you found it.
