The old Bethel Baptist Church is long gone. Find where it was and you'll find this cache!
If you spend any time wandering around the Deam Wilderness/Hoosier National Forest area you're sure to stumble across evidence of the once thriving rural community that existed out here. Not too awful far from this cache is the only remaining fire tower in the Hoosier National Forest. At one time, the view from that tower included no less than 80 individual little home steads. The ones that didn't go under during the depression were ousted when the Army Corp of Engineers undertook building Lake Monroe. One of the casualties of the lake project was the Bethel Baptist Church. In order to find this cache, you will need to find the original location of that church. The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You'll just have to go out there and figure it out.
