The geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates! They instead lead to a section of the city park where this multicache begins.
Roy Bail park is located at the west entrance to the New Haven City Park. The GPS coordinates will take you to an 1800's F E Myers & Bro Co hand pump well. The hand pump is very interesting and you will notice it is missing an important component.
To find the geocache you will have to count several things in the park, write down those numbers, and use them to find the final GPS coordinates to the Geocache.
The final coordinates to the geocache are N 38° 36.ABC W 091° 13.DEF
A = number of handles on the pump
B = number of swings on the swingset
C = number of monkey bars on the playground
D = C + number of sand volleyball courts
EF = the posted speed limit on Park Dr.
I have provided a pencil but please still bring something to write with just in case. Park hours are from sunrise to midnight. Some summer weekends the Roy Bail Park may be rented out for family bbq's so the clues will probably be unavailable during those days.
